Honors/Acolytes: Safe Zone Trained, Opioid Overdose Response trained, Mentor in Violence Prevention (MVP) trained
Extracurricular Activities: Member of Hips n Harmony A’cappella group and research assistant in the Sibling-Peer Research Group with Dr. Ganie DeHart. For the research i’m doing with Dr. DeHart, I am preparing a presentation for the Association for Psychological Science (APS) Conference in May in Boston! Also currently developing a research project with Dr. Claire Gravelin for my women’s studies minor on the concept of “Mansplaining”
I hope to pursue a career in the following area & industry: I’d like to pursue a career in the mental health and counseling field. As of now I’m looking into PsyD programs for the future.
I would like to network with alumni in the following careers & location: Open to relocating anywhere! Looking to pursue something in the mental health field with increased interest in addiction services and working with women towards gaining further equality and treatment in the workplace and beyond
Anything extra you’d like to share about yourself: I was fortunate enough to be able to study abroad in the fall of 2016 in Groningen, The Netherlands!
